Microbiology Specialist QC

Summary:

Performs method/validation/suitability for microbiological tests, specifically bio burden testing. Performs routine microbiology testing. Laboratory out of specification results investigations. Performs environmental control monitoring. Conducts training for new laboratory candidates. Provide assistance to laboratory technician as needed

Job requirements:

·         Perform microbiological tests on raw material, finished products, packaging material & water

·         Perform suitability study for raw materials & soft gelatin capsules

·         Renewal, Reconstitution & gathering of standard microorganisms

·         Media preparation.

·         Employs good documentation practices when performing tests

·         Maintenance , daily check and intermediate check of instruments

·         Maintains productivity and exhibits good work ethic

·         Accurately collects and records raw data in logbooks and or worksheets.

·         Checking laboratory equipment, being on-call and respond to continuous monitoring alarms as applicable. If needed, the associate will respond in accordance with criteria outlined in standard operating procedures.

·         Operate autoclave, oven or other specified laboratory instrument as applicable.

·         Perform environmental monitoring

·         Preparation of test specification in conjunction with the requirements of the applicable standard and/or client instructions.

·         Perform the antimicrobial efficacy test to used antiseptics & disinfectants

·         Perform validation for prepared media holding storage time

·         Perform validation of efficacy of opened media within expiration date

·         Perform validation of prepared microorganisms holding time

General Roles:

     Application of occupational health and safety rules.

  Application of environmental preservation rules.

Application of CGMP & GLP rules

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Bachelor of faculty of pharmacy or science

Experience:

    0:2 years.in QC labs

Competencies:

Have the ability to understand  GLP & GMP rules

Ability to overcome work problems & resolve them rapidly
