Pharco Corporation and Alameda Healthcare Group Sign Memorandum of Understanding Focused on Chronic Disease Care and Medical Education
Pharco Pharmaceuticals, a leading pharmaceutical company, and Alameda Healthcare Group, a prominent healthcare provider, have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on patient support, disease awareness, and scientific and medical education, with a focus on chronic disease care.
Pharco Pharmaceuticals, a leading pharmaceutical company, and Alameda Healthcare Group, a prominent healthcare provider, have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on patient support, disease awareness, and scientific and medical education, with a focus on chronic disease care.
The memorandum was signed on the sidelines of Alameda Healthcare Group’s Annual Conference, now in its second edition, at the Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile Hotel. Dr. Fahad Khater, Chairman of Alameda Healthcare Group, and Dr. Sherine Helmy, Chairman of Pharco Corporation, signed on behalf of their organizations, in the presence of senior leadership from both sides.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will work together across three areas: patient support, disease awareness, and scientific and medical education, with chronic disease care as a central focus. Planned activities, subject to agreed work plans, include screening for diabetes and hypertension, awareness initiatives for patients, and scientific exchange and educational activities for Alameda’s healthcare professionals. Guided by patient benefit, all initiatives will be carried out in line with applicable ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
Commenting on the agreement, Dr. Khater said: “Chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension are best managed when they are detected early and well understood, by patients and doctors alike. This collaboration with Pharco allows us to do more on both fronts, through screening, awareness, and ongoing education for our medical teams.”
