Pharco participates in a new pharma initiative to reduce the cost of medicines in Africa

Pharco attended a United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) conference focusing on pharmaceutical cost reduction strategies. The high-level gathering brought together policymakers, regulators, and industry experts to discuss approaches for lowering medicine and healthcare expenses across the continent.

The initiative addresses Africa's significant disease burden — approximately one quarter of global disease — through improved access to affordable, timely medications for treatable and preventable conditions.
